Once you have saved your proposal, click on the 'Financial Offer' tab.
In the 'Financial Offer' screen, enter the following data:
1: Commencement Date: The date when the seafarer leaves his domicile / starts his contract
2: Duration: Depending on the agreement, depending on the CBA Terms & Conditions, add the duration of his assignment
3: Issue Date: This is automatically updated with date of issuance of the contract
4: Expiry Date: This is automatically updated by calculating the commencement date with the duration of the contract
5: S.E.A. Type: Select the appropriate seafarer employment agreement, based on the CBA / T&Cs
6: Wage Scale: Select the appropriate wage scale based on the CBA / T&Cs, Line Up, agreement with client
7: Rank Code: Select the appropriate split up based on the seafarers rank / position, and agreement
8: Currency: This is automatically updated when the wage scale is selected
9: Payment Basis: This is automatically updated when the wage scale is selected
Column A: Wage Scale
This column automatically displays the wage scale split up for the Basic, Leave, Overtime, Bonuses as defined by the wage scale. Here you cannot change any of the amounts, but can zero the amounts by clicking on the box next to the respective field.
Column B: Owners Agreement:
This column automatically displays the amounts if the client has agreed to provide additional overtime or bonuses etc and are entered already in the line up of the vessel (initial agreement). Here you cannot change any of the amounts, but can zero the amounts by clicking on the box next to the respective field.
Column C: Specific Agreement:
This column is to be used in case the group and/or the client want to provide the seafarer with additional amounts / extra salary, in the form of additional overtime which exceed that specified in the wage scale or additional bonuses as agreed by Marlow or the client.
Column D: Total:
This column displays all the total amounts from columns A to C, and also provides the grand total of all amounts at the bottom
When you are satisfied and have confirmed the financial offer is correct, you may click on the 'Transfer salary to prop / Agent to issue A/C' box. This will transfer the amount in the 'Proposal Overview' tab > 'Negotiations' section and the agent may view the financial offer.
When the seafarer confirms that the employment offer is agreed on their behalf, and the proposal is finalised, the agent should print the Seafarer Employment Agreement (by clicking on the 'print' icon at the top left hand side of the screen in the Financial offer tab.
Once the seafarer signs all the printed preamble and the relevant S.E.A. documents, they should be uploaded (scan copies) in the 'Attach/View S.E.A.' section (bottom right of the screen).
And finally tick the 'Customer Req. & Training Needs' and the 'S.E.A. Signed by all parties' tick boxes at the bottom of the screen.
