How do I update an existing document entry?
  1. Open the Seafarers section and locate the seafarer’s profile.
  2. Navigate to the Documents tab and find the document that requires an update.
  3. Click on the document to open its details.

  4. Upload the new version of the document by either:
    • Dragging and dropping the file into the upload section
    • Clicking Browse Files to select the new document manually

  5. Verify and update any relevant fields, including:
    • Document Number (if different from the previous entry)
    • Issue Date and Expiry Date
    • Follow-Up Status (if applicable)
  6. Click Save to confirm the changes.
  7. If the document was already linked to a ship or assignment, ensure the updates reflect in any related workflows.
Tip: If the document is expired, update the expiry date before saving to prevent system errors.
