We are pleased to announce the addition of a new tool in Argo that allows you to look up vessel details using the IMO number. This tool is designed to help you verify the completeness and accuracy of Previous Sea Service records for non-Marlow vessels.
While the data set may not be as extensive as some paid providers like Sea-Web, you can still access a variety of information, including:
- Flag (currently 2 letter code is shown but in the future the 3 letter code will be available)
- Vessel type
- Length, width, DWT, and GT
- TEU
- Geared or gearless status
- Engine builder, model, KW, and population type
In the future, we plan to include the option to search by vessel name.
