If a Medical Fitness Cert is marked as YES (WITH RESTRICTIONS)
And the Crew P+I cover is not with Marlow, you will be required to obtain written approval from the Owner in order to proceed with the processing and employment of the seafarer.
An email notification will be sent to the respective Operation Group as a reminder that the owner needs to be informed:
And the following warning will be shown in the Travel / ID / Medical / Other tab
Once the owners written approval has been obtained it must be uploaded in the Medical Cert entry under the Medical Specification tab as follows:
Note: If the owner fails to reply you might consider sending them the follow message which could be uploaded: “As have just received flight details for the seaman, we understand that the crew has been accepted on your end with b/m medical restriction. We will proceed with his embarkation as instructed.”
Once uploaded, a 'On Signer Non Conformity' will be created which must be reviewed and approved by the respective Senior Supt (as normal):
The owners approval is also now visible in the On Signer N/C screen for the convenience of the Senior Supt
